“According to official data, for four years only buckwheat fell in price by 6%, while prices for other social products soared from 58% to 542%,” Doroshenko wrote on his Facebook page.

According to him, the social basket of 23 products on average in the country cost 450 hryvnia in December 2014, in December 2018, its cost was 923 hryvnia.

“On average, over four years, groceries went up by 1.7 times, meat and eggs — almost 2 times, dairy products — 2.2 times, bread 2.8 times, vegetables — 3.9 times,” added head of the association of suppliers.

Earlier, Doroshenko said that the cost of “borsch set” in the country in 2018 almost doubled.
