Two Palestinians were killed Friday by Israeli gunfire, and others, including children, were injured in the return marches, the siege on Gaza and support rallies in the occupied West Bank.

In the Gaza Strip, Atallah Hussein Abed was killed and 22 others were seriously wounded by Israeli fire during their participation in the return marches and breaking the siege near the border fence in the eastern Gaza Strip.

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas's political bureau, and senior leaders of the Palestinian factions, including the Islamic Jihad, the Popular Front and the Democratic Front, took part in the weekly march, according to the Anatolia correspondent.

A spokesman for the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf al-Qadra, said in a brief statement that 22 Palestinians, including 14 children, were wounded by the Israeli army firing live bullets near the eastern border of the Gaza Strip.

In the same context, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health in his latest statement that the Israeli occupation army targeted an ambulance east of Gaza City with a barrage of tear gas bombs, wounding six paramedics suffocation.

According to the Anatolia correspondent, thousands of Palestinians converged on the return camps at five points along the border fence on Friday night to participate in peaceful return marches.

In the West Bank, a 17-year-old boy was killed and another wounded by Israeli occupation forces near the town of Silwad (east of Ramallah).

The Palestinian liaison officer informed the family of Ayman Ahmed Fares Hamed of his death after he was shot by the Israeli army in the chest on the bypass road designated for the passage of the settlers and adjacent to Silwad town.

The correspondent of Al Jazeera Net Mervat Sadiq told local sources in Salwad that the region did not witness clashes with the occupation today. However, the Israeli army statement claimed that Palestinian youths threw stones at settler cars.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that the wounded boy was transferred to the Palestinian medical compound in Ramallah after being shot in the hand. The Israeli soldiers moved the martyr Ayman Hamed to an unknown destination before his family was informed of his death.

Several areas in the West Bank today witnessed confrontations with the occupation in marches calling for supporting the prisoners in Israeli jails after the repression of the detainees in Ofer prison, west of Ramallah.

In the village of Mughayir (north of Ramallah), several demonstrators were wounded by live Israeli fire. While an Islamic Jihad activist was wounded by a metal bullet in the head during a protest against the confiscation of the lands of Jabal al-Risan near Kafr Naama village (west of Ramallah).
