According to AFP, with reference to the prosecutor’s office, a 21-year-old and a 27-year-old man were convicted of deliberate violence against those with authority, as well as on the facts of carrying weapons during demonstrations.

According to the agency, on December 22, about a thousand people took part in the demonstrations in Nancy. Nine protesters were detained, two policemen were injured.

In total, during the regular rally of protests of the “yellow vests” in France, 220 people were detained.
