Turkish newspapers published photographs and names of 15 Saudis who entered Turkish territory on the same day that Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi disappeared at his consulate in Istanbul.

The newspapers said the 15 Saudis were believed to be involved in Khashoggi's "torture and murder".

Turkish security sources said last Saturday that 15 Saudis, including officials, arrived in Istanbul aboard two planes and that they were present at the consulate in conjunction with the presence of Khashoggi inside.

The same sources pointed out that the Saudi officials returned later on the same day to the two countries that came from them, namely Egypt and the UAE.
