Turkey's government has launched a procedure to urge Saudi authorities to deliver to Saudi Arabia on 18 Saudi citizens who are suspected of killing Saudi Arabia's dissident journalist Jamal Kashu.

A Turkish Ministry of Justice official said on Friday (26 June) that Istanbul prosecutors have completed the extradition request for 18 Saudi suspects charged with planned killing of Kashu.

The request was filed by the Turkish Ministry of Justice as a foreign ministry and will soon be sent to the Saudi government, the official said.

Saudi prosecutors are investigating 18 suspects for allegedly killing Saudi dissident journalist Kashuji at the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul.
