Writer Paul Krugman criticizes the government closure in the United States, and describes the team of US President Donald Trump as idiots.

The writer says in an article published in The New York Times that many political disasters have been in the history of the United States, but it is difficult to think of an unjustified disaster such as the current federal closure.

Trump told Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and their Senate leader Chuck Schumer that he would initiate the government closure on his own, but he promised he would not blame them for the move, while he did the opposite.

The writer compares former President Abraham Lincoln and President Trump, saying Lincoln had a team of competitors, while Trump was a mob.

Bad remarks
Krugman says that if he describes the Trump team harshly, one can hope for the recent bad economic statements made by two members of his administration.

The White House economic adviser, Kevin Harst, comments about the plight of underemployed federal workers: "They are already in a better position" because they are on vacation without having to use any of the holidays.

He points out Fox News's Sean Hannity's comments about taxing the rich. The writer says some may believe that Hanietti is not a member of the Trump administration, adding that Fox News enjoys a high profile in the White House and that some of its leaders are interfering in decisions Trump is more involved than experts from sites such as the State Department or Defense.

The writer is referring to Hannity's statement that raising taxes on the wealthy will hurt the economy, arguing that the rich will not buy the boats they love for recreation and that they will not take expensive holidays anymore expensive.

The writer also describes Trump's presidency as very chaotic and corrupt, and says that anyone in his administration is likely to be harmed because of Trump's external connections.

He wonders: Who are willing to work with Trump at the current stage? He answers that they are the only ones who do not have a reputation to lose, because they are originally very bad at what they do.
