The weather on Friday will be very rainy and very windy while the sky will be brighter on the Mediterranean rim, according to Météo-France forecasts.

Overcast and widespread rains over a large northern half. On a large northern half, to the north of Aquitaine, Midi-Pyrenees and the Alps, a very disturbed time will settle in the morning, with a cloudy sky, widespread rains and sometimes marked and with wind southwesterly strong enough. The gusts will sometimes reach 70 to 80 km / h in the land, up to 90 km / h on the Atlantic coast and Manche and locally 100km / h on the crests of the Vosges. The rain-snow limit will rise rapidly to 2,200 m during the afternoon.

However, in regions close to the English Channel up to the Belgian border, rains will diminish during the day and thinnings will develop. The risk of showers will be limited to the Channel coast before spreading in the evening north of the Seine.

Quieter in the southern half. In the south and around the Mediterranean, weather conditions will remain calm under a bright but cloudy sky at the end of the day. Sometimes a few scattered showers will threaten southern Aquitaine and Midi-Pyrenees to the Rhone Valley. The westerly wind will strengthen significantly at the end of the day between Corsica and mainland.

Temperatures. The minimum temperatures will vary between 3 and 8 degrees, -1 to +5 degrees in the southeast, 9 to 12 on the Atlantic seaboard. Peaks, rising, will reach 10 to 15 degrees, up to 15 to 18 degrees in the extreme south of the country.
