Following the publication in the official journal of 20 October 2018 of an interministerial decree dated 17 September, the prefecture informs that the state of natural disaster has been recognized for two Costa Rican communes.

Plaintel is in the list. On June 3, 2018, a storm of rare violence had fallen on the town causing floods and mudslides. The houses and garages of some hamlets had been damaged.

Belle-Isle-en-Terre also benefits from this recognition of natural disaster, this time under ground movements, recorded in the municipality between 1 and 5 April 2018.

The prefecture reminds the victims that they have "ten days, from the publication in the official journal, to file with their insurance company an estimate of their losses, in order to benefit from the compensation scheme provided for by law No. 82.600 of July 13, 1982, as amended ".
