"The withdrawal of troops is based on operational conditions on the ground, including negotiations with our allies and partners, and should not depend on arbitrary deadlines," said Sean Robertson, spokesman for the Pentagon, to RIA Novosti.
He noted that the “orderly withdrawal” of American ATS from the northeast is currently being carried out.
“During this process, the number of troops will fluctuate. For operational security reasons, we will not discuss specific troop movements or deadlines, ”said Robertson.
