The speech of King Mohammed VI during the official reception ceremony of Pope Benedict XVI raised the admiration and praise of the Moroccan citizens who considered it a pride for them.
The Moroccan King spoke on Saturday during his speech at the Pope's reception in four languages: Arabic, English, French and Spanish.
Moroccan media said the speech was a precedent, as the first time King Mohammed VI delivered a speech in that number of languages.
"The speech of the day changed all the speeches," he said. "The rhetoric of his tongue when he spoke in all languages confirmed once again that our king is a great pride for his people."
