"I take second place to cyber threats, and third place to threats from Russia," said Metnar.

As the minister pointed out, the latest threat is the rearmament and redeployment of the army, as well as a large number of military exercises and events that are linked "with other countries of the former socialist bloc."

“The order of threats in this case is not so important, because their dynamics can change very quickly,” he stressed.

Earlier, Czech Foreign Minister Tomash Petrshichek called Russia a threat to the European Union.

In the fall of 2018, the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Britain Mark Carlton-Smith said that Russia represents a greater threat to the country and its allies than terrorist organizations.
