According to RIA Novosti, it will be built in Istanbul and it will belong to the Syro-Yakovite Church.
"This is the first Christian church in Turkey after the temple, built in 1950 in Midyat, southeastern Mardin province," RIA Novosti quoted the head of the foundation of the monastery Gabriel Kurjakos Ergun.
Construction of the new temple is scheduled for completion in two years.
