In 2019, the debt to the IMF has yet to be repaid. This money does not change anything, does not help in any way, it turns out a ridiculous and absurd situation, ”Okhrimenko said.

The expert noted that the western partners of Ukraine did not fulfill their promises to Kiev.

“At one time, the United States first said that Ukraine would receive $ 40 billion of financial assistance from them, then it was already about $ 70 billion. But not one of these sums has been received,” he concluded.

Earlier it was reported that the total public (direct) and state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine in December increased by 4.8%, or $ 3.56 billion. At the end of 2018, it grew by 2.6%, or $ 2.02 billion.
