“It’s hard to say how many people came and how many did not come. In Ukraine, there has been no census for a long time, and the real number of voters is unclear. If the CEC data on turnout for the first round are counted by the number of population, then it turns out that more than 42 million people live in the country. And it turns out that too many people voted, especially given the fact that only 500 thousand people participated in voting abroad. That is, there were generally some unrealistic numbers. Maybe they were less rigged up now, ”he said.

The expert also noted that some time ago it was difficult to imagine the victory of Vladimir Zelensky, especially with such a margin.

“This result suggests that Petro Poroshenko is very tired of the population, irritated and disgusted with his policies. He flew with a huge score. People are tired of war and Russophobia. Now citizens have a little time to rely on. In the near future it will be clear whether to wait for a change, ”said Dudchak.

Earlier in the CEC of Ukraine reported that more than 11 million voters did not vote during the second round of the presidential elections on April 21.

It is noted that out of 29.6 million people included in the electoral lists, 18.4 million voters voted.

Including in Kiev 1.42 million people voted out of 2.16 million.

The turnout of voters at 20:00 on April 21 was 62.07%.
