The authorities of Ingushetia reported the arrest of about 40 students from the region in Moscow

“In the morning of December 17, it became known that Ingush students of the RSUU were detained by security officials in Moscow,” the report said.

It is noted that the media information about 400 detainees is not true.

According to the Permanent Mission, “about 40 people were detained.” The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

“Both deputy permanent representatives of the republic are at the Obruchevsky OVD and Zyuzino OVD, where the detained students were taken, now most of them have already been released,” the report said.

Earlier in the RSUU reported that preventive activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took place in the university dormitory.
