Incidents enamelled the parade of "yellow vests" Saturday in Lille, where the police arrested several people and fired tear gas grenades, while several demonstrators were injured. Between 500 and 600 people, according to the prefecture, followed an unusual route and were stopped at a roundabout leading to the central police station and a motorway junction. The police then fired tear gas to disperse the crowd.

Several wounded. The procession left on a nearby boulevard and several people were arrested. Two men in their fifties were wounded: one, saying he was suffering from his back, was sitting against one wall while waiting for the firefighters, the other had a bloody wound to the skull. A press photographer was injured in the calf, a grenade bounced off and exploded between his legs, while a television crew was attacked by protesters. In total, six people were arrested, according to the prefecture.
