“Given the required unanimity, it all depends on Ireland. Obviously, no additional concessions in this matter should be expected from Dublin, ”said the source.

Earlier it became known that the British Prime Minister Theresa May shifted the decisive vote on the agreement on the withdrawal of the kingdom from the European Union in the country's parliament. One of the reasons for the postponement was the disagreement of parliamentarians with the treaty clause relating to Northern Ireland.

In November, it was reported that the House of Commons of the British Parliament was to hold on December 11 a final vote on an agreement with the European Union on Brexit.
