It is noted that the voting took place a few hours after US President Donald Trump agreed to stop the shatdaun in the country without providing funding for the construction of a wall on the border with the United States.

The publication notes that, as expected, later this law will take the US House of Representatives, after which it will be sent to Trump for consideration.

Earlier, Trump said he would sign a decree, which involves resuming the work of the federal government for three weeks, until February 15.
