On March 12, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that Rosneft continues to buy oil from the Venezuelan PDVSA, bypassing the sanctions.
The company called such accusations groundless.
Later in Washington, speaking of possible sanctions against Rosneft, noted that the introduction of restrictions on countries that support the authorities in Venezuela, is quite acceptable.
