Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed Oleg Govorun from the post of head of the Kremlin’s border cooperation department. The corresponding decree is published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
It follows from the document that Aleksey Filatov was appointed to this post.
The Office of the President for Border Cooperation appeared in October 2018.
It was transformed from the Department of Socio-Economic Cooperation with the CIS countries, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, which Govorun headed in 2013.
