The Ukrainian leader accused Moscow of wanting to destroy European unity, solidarity and identity.

"And one of the means for this is the spread of fakes about Ukraine. Whatever they are, starting from "they are not there" and ending with a supposedly Russian-Ukrainian missile that the Malaysian Boeing has shot down ... Our obligation with you is not to allow anybody to be discredited by Ukraine, "Poroshenko said.

Earlier in the Russian Defense Ministry said that the missile that shot down the Malaysian Boeing was sent to Ukraine in December 1986 and did not return to Russia after the collapse of the USSR. The Office provided declassified documentation from the missile manufacturer.

The Russian Prosecutor General's Office forwarded to the Netherlands new data on the investigation of the crash of the Malaysian Boeing flight MH17.
