Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin said that Pedersen will visit Moscow on January 21.

According to Vershinin, the Russian side expects Pedersen to talk about his vision of how it will be necessary to implement UN decisions and seek a political settlement in Syria.
