During the meeting on Wednesday, March 6, Volodin interrupted Oreshkin’s speech and offered to postpone it, since, in the speaker’s opinion, the head of the department could not tell the deputies about the forecast for the development of the Russian economy.

“Here, I think, the emotional component was precisely related to the scale of the tasks that need to be addressed, problems, not very good indicators on the dynamics of the economy, which we see at the end of the past and the beginning of this year,” said Oreshkin.

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the situation, said that the incident is a work process.
