"The investigation against me is biased," RIA Novosti quoted Netanyahu as saying. The prime minister made a statement on television.

According to him, “the judicial system is one of the foundations of Israeli democracy,” and the police refused him a confrontation with state witnesses.

“I have nothing to fear, I have nothing to hide, I repeat my demand of confrontation with state witnesses, even if on the air,” said Netanyahu.

Earlier, Netanyahu commented on the recommendation of the police to file corruption charges against him and his wife Sarah.

As reported by The Jerusalem Post, the Israeli police recommended that Netanyahu and his wife, Sarah, be charged with bribery, fraud, and a violation of public trust as part of a corruption investigation known as the “4000 case”.
