HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received a number of leaders and senior officials participating in the World Government Summit held in Dubai. His Highness and guests exchanged views on the importance of the World Summit for Governments and their role in presenting ideas, projects and specific initiatives that help governments around the world to achieve sustainable development and prosperity for peoples.

His Highness the Prime Minister received Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri. The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and means of strengthening and developing them to serve their common interests in addition to a number of issues of mutual concern.

The meeting was attended by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Undersecretary of the Diwan of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazroui, Lebanese Ambassador to the State of Qatar Hamad Saeed Sultan Al Shamsi and Lebanese Ambassador to the State Shehab Dandan. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, IMF Managing Director, Christine Lagarde also met.

His Highness and Christine Lagarde discussed the potential of cooperation between the UAE and the IMF in addition to a number of global financial and economic issues.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of State for Finance, Obaid Bin Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber and the Undersecretary of the Diwan of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei.

He was received by Airbus CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Airbus, Geum Furi, and discussed with him a number of areas related to aviation affairs and ways to develop cooperation between Airbus and the UAE airlines.

He also met with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Director of the United Nations World Food Program, David Bisley.

The meeting touched on the development projects implemented by the World Food Program in the areas of health, infrastructure and education, and assistance to refugees, and provide support to ensure that needy people receive food assistance.
