Demonstrations took place in the Libyan capital of Tripoli, condemning the attack by the forces of retired Major General Khalifa Hafter on the capital, while the head of the government of the reconciliation of what he called the silence of the allies on the attack.

The demonstrators supported the Operation "Volcano of Wrath" of the government of national reconciliation, which is fighting battles to repel the forces of Haftar. They also chanted slogans condemning the role of the UAE and Saudi Arabia in support of Haftar attack on Tripoli.

Also in the city of Misurata demonstrations against the attack Hafter, condemning what the demonstrators described as international silence towards this attack. The demonstrators also shouted slogans in Misrata rejecting the rule of the military and demand the establishment of a civil state through which the circulation of power in their country.

The demonstrators wore yellow jackets to denounce France's role in Libya and its support for Major General Hafer's forces.

Meanwhile, Fayez al-Sarraj, the head of the national reconciliation government, said he condemned the "silence" of the international allies in the face of the advance of Hafar's forces in Tripoli.

Al-Sarraj said in an interview with the British channel "BBC" that the lack of access to his government to support may lead to other consequences, pointing to the possibility of exploiting the state organization of such circumstances.

He also expressed his regret over the stalemate of the Security Council and the inability to reach a common formula to deal with the crisis in Libya, and the non-acceptance of Russia mentioned the name of Hafer, although everyone knows that he is the mastermind.

Al-Serraj said the Libyans were indignant at the silence of the international community and felt that the world had abandoned them as violence continued against them.
