“The terrorist nest remaining in Idlib is an obvious fact. And our Syrian colleagues reaffirmed their commitment to eliminating this terrorist focus, ”Lavrov said in response to a question from a RT correspondent.

He added that the Russian side is ready to continue to take action under the Idlib agreement with Turkey, including the creation of a demilitarized zone around the security zone.

At the same time, Lavrov stressed that the presence of Jabhat al-Nusra * terrorists in Idlib, who seized the majority of the territory, is not in line with the agreements to solve the problem of the Idlib security region.

“Turkish colleagues are working together with the Russian military on ways to overcome this situation,” the Russian Foreign Minister added.
