The General Network of Government Communications, the General Secretariat of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, has announced that it has signed an agreement with the Mohammed bin Rashid School for Media, a subsidiary of the American University of Dubai, to organize the executive program in government communication, which was developed jointly by the General Secretariat of the Executive Council and the College. The strategic initiatives of the public network of government communication in Dubai, which includes the directors of communication departments in government agencies in the Emirate.

The program targets 30 executives from government departments and is designed primarily to provide participants with the latest developments, best practices and future directions in strategic communication, as well as to enhance their skills and build their capacity to apply acquired knowledge and improve their performance.

The program will be held in an innovative and stimulating environment that will encourage participants to apply creative thinking and participate in the discussion of the most widely discussed ideas and topics at the local and international levels. The program consists of three different units, public relations of government agencies, digital communication, marketing and design of institutional brands.

HE Ahmed Al-Muhri, Assistant Secretary-General for Government Communication and Secretariat Affairs at the Council, stressed the importance of enhancing and developing the capabilities of communication staff in government agencies in Dubai and providing them with the skills that enhance their ability to deal with the various challenges that may impede their work.

Vice President of the American University of Dubai, Dr. Jihad Nader, said that the program will achieve its objectives of building participants' capacities, introducing them to the latest scientific developments and practical applications, and developing their skills in government communication.

Dr. Ayman Mahmoud, Director of Government Communication at the Executive Council, said that the program reflects the objectives of the General Network for Government Communication to support and enhance the capabilities and performance of government communication personnel. He also pointed out his role in preparing government communication experts in cooperation with specialists from Mohammed bin Rashid Media College, In addition to experts from the most prominent governmental and media agencies.
