The committee recommended the establishment of a fact-finding committee to review the losses of the National Railways Authority.

The move comes because of the losses incurred by the Authority, where the head of the final accounts sector in the Ministry of Finance Abdul Nabi Mansour that the losses estimated at about 600 million dollars during the previous fiscal year ended at the end of June.

He added that it represents more than 40% of the total losses of 16 economic bodies with losses of nearly $ 1.3 billion.

According to media source sources, the committee rejected the request of the representative of the Railways Authority to raise the price for service to compensate the losses of the Commission.

The committee called for moving to recover the assets of the abused and unexploited entity.

The sources also pointed out that the members of the House of Representatives demanded to move quickly to stop what they called "bleeding."
