The Kuwaiti diving team of the environmental volunteer "Sea Guard" has been able to carry out thousands of campaigns to protect the marine environment and its entities in the waters of Kuwait and its coasts since its establishment in 1986.

In addition to its voluntary tasks in raising waste, protecting coral reefs and cleaning the beaches, the team noted the importance of contributing to the creation of environmental awareness among the different social groups through several means, most notably social networking sites.

The diving team is carrying out campaigns to clean and protect the marine environment with the participation of many government agencies and Kuwaiti educational institutions.

The team is also using local experts from Kuwait University and the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR), as well as international individuals from a number of universities, most notably Australian University of Queensland, to implement coral reef protection projects and Kuwait.
