The WJR annually awards the International Day of Solidarity of Journalists.
Among the nominees were also Vsevolod Bogdanov, Elena Milashina and Alexei Simonov.
The "Kamerton" award was established on August 30, 2013, on Anna Politkovskaya's birthday.
