LONDON (Reuters) - Juventus are planning to sign Liverpool striker and English Premier Mohamed Salah for 200 million euros during the summer transfer period, British press reports said on Monday.

Press reports added that the old lady's club wanted to buy Salah to substitute for Paulo Debala, who may leave the team next summer.

The deal will be the most expensive in the history of the club, almost double the price paid by Juve for the purchase of star Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid last summer.

The Egyptian star will also become the second most expensive deal in the history of football after the transfer of Brazilian star Neymar to the Paris St Germain of France from Barcelona for 220 million euros.

The news puts the Liverpool team in a major crisis as it needs to focus its players - most notably Salah - on the English Premier League title lead by the goal difference from the Reds and the City overtime, meaning that Liverpool will return to the top if they win or draw in the game that is lacking.
