“The police received information about the movement of a suspicious vehicle. Having stopped the driver, law enforcement officers began checking his documents. At that moment, the man threw a grenade toward the police and began to run away, ”the statement says.
According to authorities, the attacker was arrested, and the injured police officer was hospitalized.
In December 2018, police detained a 17-year-old college student in the Dnipropetrovsk region, who kept grenades, trotyl drafts, an assault rifle and a rocket launcher in a rented apartment.
