Thus, the Vatican commented on the information that the VaticanNews portal had previously posted a message regarding the formation of a “new church” in Ukraine and its election as head of Epiphanius.
“The only official portal of the Vatican is www.vatican.va, and the official news of the Holy See is published only in the Press Service Bulletin,” said a representative of the directorate of the Vatican press service.
In the “new church” in Ukraine, the publication on VaticanNews was previously regarded as a recognition of the Ukrainian splitting structure by the Vatican. In particular, Evstraty Zorya, head of the non-canonical Kyiv Patriarchate Information Management, wrote about it on his Facebook page.
