The court also granted the joint petition of the prosecution and the defense about the “change” of the plea of the Russian woman’s plea.
It is noted that as earlier Butina in court declared full innocence, any change may indicate a partial admission of guilt.
Earlier, the protection of Butina and the prosecutor's office filed a joint request for a hearing on the deal with the Russians.
In July, Maria Butina was detained in the United States on suspicion of "working for Russia as an agent."
