“A slightly different form of“ bicycle zone ”is introduced, where cyclists will have an advantage over cars. I think there are places where this is perfectly acceptable. For example, some narrow streets, which, in fact, play the role of courtyards. In Moscow, it's all very mixed up. There are streets on which there are residential entrances, there are yard territories, but transit traffic is carried out along them, ”he said.

According to Yankov, "the main thing is that the local authorities, who determine where to hang these signs, clearly understand where such signs are needed."

Previously, the rules of the road were amended, which, in particular, to ensure the priority of cyclists introduced the concept of "cycling zone". The maximum speed in such a zone will be no more than 20 km / h.
