According to US Citizenship and Immigration Administration statistics, Iraqis, Egyptians, Somalis, Jordanians and Moroccans are respectively the most Arab citizens of US citizenship in 2018, while Syrians, Iraqis, Egyptians, Somalis and Jordanians were the most active Arabs in America in the same year.

Permanent residents are divided into two categories: the first settled their status, and the second new arrivals.

Among the 544,475 people from all over the world who obtained American citizenship last year, the share of Iraqis was 8047. The Egyptians came in 4459, the Somalis 3096, the Jordanians 2332 and the Moroccans fifth in 1818.

The list of Arab nationalities that received permanent residence in the United States last year was 10931, of which 10179 were settled and 752 were new.
