According to the ex-head of the SVR, this will allow Moscow to say that "there is not a single document that would testify that the Crimea is Ukrainian."

He believes that it was worthwhile to resort to partial denunciation of the agreement and leave provisions advantageous for Kiev.

December 10, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed the law on the termination of the contract. The Russian Foreign Ministry called this decision a mistake.
