The minister also added that Ukraine is developing the direction of railway communication with the EU.
Earlier, Omelyan said that passenger traffic from the country to Russia has decreased five times since 2013.
In August, the minister expressed the opinion that a possible termination of the rail and bus service with Russia would benefit Ukraine.
