In Dagestan, there have been massive searches at gas consumption facilities

It is noted that earlier the prosecutor's office revealed numerous facts of unjustified accrual of gas debts to the residents of the region.

“As a result of organizational and practical measures taken by the republic’s prosecutor’s office, searches of unprecedented scale were conducted at 960 gas consumption facilities,” RIA Novosti quotes Popov.

According to him, during these events, “criminal schemes of massive theft of gas and money”, paid by local residents for consumed gas, were revealed.

Based on the materials of inspections, eight criminal cases were initiated.

In November 2018, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia commissioned an inspection of the execution of the law during the transportation of oil and gas in Dagestan.

Also, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered to take measures to prevent the facts of theft of oil and gas in the republic.
