The mobilization of high school students marked the pace Wednesday with a number of institutions disrupted sharply lower, while high school students and teachers call for a new day of mobilization Friday. The Ministry of National Education has identified some 80 troubled institutions throughout France (out of 2,400 public high schools), including about 20 fully blocked. The day before, as on Monday, there were nearly half a thousand schools disturbed, including about sixty blocked.

Call for mobilization for Friday. Tuesday was marked by demonstrations, which totaled a few thousand young people, in Paris and several cities, without much significant incident, unlike rallies last week.

University sites have also been disrupted in recent days. Wednesday, the Institute of Political Sciences in Rennes closed its doors, after "blocking access to the institution by thirty students," according to management. Several high school unions (UNL-National, UNL-SD), students (Unef, Solidaires), teachers (Snes-FSU, Snesup-FSU, South Education etc.) called for a strike and to demonstrate on Friday.
