RAPHAEL HENZEL, one of the six survivors of the crash of the Brazilian club Chapequence in 2016, died of a heart attack during a football match, his radio station said.

One of his colleagues at Radio Oyste Capital said that Hansel was playing football with his friends and had a heart attack. He was transferred to Chapico Regional Hospital where he was confirmed dead.

The 45-year-old journalist survived the accident, which killed 71 people on November 28, 2016, including 19 players from the Brazilian team Chappiquense, who was heading for Colombia for a match against Atletico Nacional in the Copa Sudamericana final.

The plane of the Bolivian company Lamia caused fuel to fall in the Andes near the Colombian city of Medellin (71 people died out of 77 aboard, including 20 journalists).

After his death from the plane crash, Hansel said he was born for the second time, expressing his deep gratitude to the Colombian rescue teams that pulled him out of the rubble.
