“Yesterday (March 25 - RT ) an attempt to steal a government communication cable during the reconstruction of the Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge was stopped,” he specified.
According to Simonov, employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia and representatives of the law enforcement bodies of the capital were involved in the events.
“The attackers were detained red-handed. One of the workers tried to escape and jumped off the bridge, but was caught, ”the agency’s source added.
However, he stressed that the incident did not affect the work of the government communication system.
