The violent explosion that blew a building Saturday in Paris killing 4 dead and dozens of wounded recently raised a controversy. In an interview with the newspaper Le Parisien this Sunday, an elected representative of the 6th arrondissement of the capital sounds the alarm on the state of obsolescence of the gas distribution network in Paris.

Before the explosion, a team of firefighters intervened in the building due to a gas leak, when the explosion took place. The cause of the tragedy is not yet established at this stage of the investigation, but already strong suspicions weigh on the urban network of gas supply.

Without affirming with certainty that it is at the origin of the explosion , Alexandre Vesperini sounds the alarm bell. The various elected right of the 6th arrondissement of the capital alert on the dilapidated gas network in Paris. A network that, according to this Parisian adviser and member of the superior gas control commission, has aged a lot. A network especially poorly reported, which " makes it a deadly bullet ".

Alexandre Vesperini now hopes that preventive measures will be taken, because he says, this type of accidents could happen in many places in the capital.

Paradoxically, the Parisian gas network is being renovated, although, according to Alexandre Vesperini, it is not a priority of the town hall. Certainly, this topic will be inviting in the campaign for the municipal of 2020.
