Moroccan Minister of Youth and Sports Rachid Talbi announced today that his country will not submit a file to host the African Cup of Nations next year.

The African Football Confederation (CA) decided to withdraw the tournament from Cameroon because of the country's lack of readiness to host this important event and the delay in the completion of stadiums and facilities for the competition.

Morocco was expected to be the first candidate to host the tournament, but Morocco's sports minister has broken all expectations.
