Police are looking for witnesses of a robbery of a tobacconist, Friday, July 20, in Cholet. Fleeing by the manager's son, the suspects left empty-handed.

The bureau of tobacco, the Gitanes, was the scene of a robbery attempt, Friday, July 20, around 19 h 15. Two helmeted men entered the store, located Avenue de la Liberation, Cholet. Armed with tear gas bombs, they asked the manager for cash. The son of the latter, at the scene that night, interposed with bare hands.

In front of his determination, the robbers used their tear bombs and made the decision to flee aboard their car parked in front of the tobacconist's office.

A couple of witnesses wanted

Police Cholet tries to clarify this case and asks all witnesses to contact them (02 41 64 82 00) or to report to the police station (4, rue du Bordage-Fontaine, Cholet). Present in the tobacco shop at the time of the facts, a couple is particularly sought after.
