For an environmentally friendly agriculture, for a subsidy policy that takes into account, first and foremost, the farms devoted to it: as every year, there was a demonstration in Berlin at the Agricultural Fair for another agricultural policy.

The "Green Week" is the name of the Berlin Agricultural Show, a global event every year. But for the protesters - 12,000 according to the police, 35,000 according to the organizers - agriculture is far from green.

Since 2011, producers have been supported by their tractors and backed by consumers for environmentally friendly agriculture and against the industry in this sector: " We are very patient. We know that we are dealing with tough opponents and we must persevere. We just want agriculture to not destroy the environment, biodiversity not being challenged, animals not suffering. Explains one of them.

The demonstrators called for a call into question of the subsidies within the European agricultural policy related to the surface of the exploitations and not to their respect of the environment and the biodiversity. The organizers have submitted a text to this effect to the 70 Agriculture Ministers gathered for a conference in the German capital on the sidelines of the Green Week.
