“On Wednesday evening, the court imprisoned Sh. Kazbulatov for two months until February 11, 2019,” Interfax reports the press service of the Stavropol Regional Court.
Kazbulatov was detained on December 11.
He became the third detained member of the month for an attack on paratroopers of the 6th company of the Pskov Airborne Division in 2000.
The attack was committed in 2000 in a mountainous and wooded area near the village of Ulus-Kert in the Shatoi district of Chechnya by a united armed gang led by Shamil Basayev and Khattab. Killed 84 soldiers.
