During the military service, a plan is to be recognized as a college credit for experiences such as the leadership of the unit, community service, and guidance for reading the unit.

The Ministry of National Defense (MND) today announced that it has concluded an agreement to promote the recognition of military service experience credits at the Yongsan Army Hall in Seoul, attended by 12 university presidents and school officials.

Participating universities are Gangwon Provincial University, Gangyang University, Gyeonggi Science and Technology University, Kyungin Education University, Gumi University, Far East University, Daegu Health University, Daeduk University, Daejeon University, Sangji Youngseo University, Inha College of Engineering and Jeonnam University of Science.

The Ministry of National Defense plans to cooperate with these universities to list the experience of military service that can be used as a future credit, and to prepare credit application procedures.

An official from the Ministry of National Defense said, "The recognition of military service experience credits is one of the top 100 national government tasks," said the university's autonomous decision to utilize the educational experience of individuals accumulated during military service such as social service and leadership.

If you have experience as a unit leader in the military, or if you have a record of community service activities, instruction on reading by troops, and various awards, this will be considered as college credit.
