“Yesterday a consular visit took place to US citizen Paul Whelan at Lefortovo. There are days, weeks, but Whelan remains in custody without any evidence, ”the message says on Twitter.
Earlier, the US embassy said that so far they have not received any evidence from Paul Whelan from the Russian side.
As noted by the lawyer, a citizen of four states, Whelan is suspected of spying for the US.
